It's been a while since I've written to you. Rather than send a grand "I'm back" email, I want to show you what I've been rebuilding.

The original AI Powered People Ops course helped people get started with automation. Lydia, who took that earlier course, left a review that ended: "Highly recommended - my only wish is it could have been longer." I've thought about that a lot. The tools have changed since then, and a quick introduction is no longer enough for the work I want people to be able to do.

👀 One bit of research has been rattling around in my head. In a study of 515 startups, both groups got AI models and technical training. The group that also saw how other firms had reorganised their work around AI found 44% more use cases and generated 1.9x the revenue of the control group. The largest revenue gains sat at the top end, so please don't read that as a promise about what a course can do for your revenue! The useful question is whether we can get much better at finding the work worth changing in the first place.

That's the shape of the new Deepgrain cohort. Over five live weeks, you'll write skills files for work you actually do, build a project workspace that holds the context, and take one recurring job through to a workflow you can run with checks in place. We'll cover connectors, plugins, agents and small tools built with vibe coding where they help that job. You'll leave with your own before-and-after and a 90-day plan, rather than a demo you never open again.
